Enterprise Geographic Information Systems

The Enterprise GIS Unit creates and maintains the official DOTD base map and Linear Reference System geometry of all the roads collected by the Highway Inventory Unit. The Unit uses GIS software and technologies to maintain and distribute these features.  It is responsible for the production and maintenance of numerous GIS features, applications as well as numerous mapping products; including the Louisiana Tourist Map, DOTD District and Parish Maps, Federal Aid Highways Maps and more.
