The mission of the Construction Section is to develop, administer, and regulate the Department's construction certification areas of asphalt concrete paving, portland cement concrete paving, embankment and base course, and structures, as well as all aspects of transportation construction not covered by these areas including fabrication, eConstruction, work zones, contractor payments, and final audit of construction documentation.
