Single Trip Permits

Individual mobile homes that are oversize, but not overweight, will be issued an Oversize Permit for a single trip.
Active for 3 Days
No extensions will be granted

This permit authorizes the movement of vehicles and loads exceeding legal limitations on length, width, height, and/or projecting loads.
Exceptions:
- Vehicle combinations, excluding mobile homes, which are only over length and haul loads of the same product all day may make more than one trip per day. However, any changes to the destination or origin of the vehicle or load require the acquisition of an additional $10 permit. If the vehicle or load is also over width or over height, only one trip per day can be made per permit.
- Oversize equipment being used to transport an oversize load may utilize a single Oversize Permit to travel to the point where the load is picked up, travel to its destination, and return empty to the point of origin, provided the entire trip is completed on the same day and all highways being used are shown on the permit.

This permit is valid for a single trip and authorizes the movement of indivisible vehicles and loads exceeding legal axle and/or gross vehicle weight limitations.
Oversize dimensions are also covered at no additional charge, provided they are specified on the permit.
Movement of oversize hauling trailers to the loading site and/or from the destination will be allowed on the same overweight permit, provided that all moves are completed in one day.

Containerized cargo used for international trade is eligible for Overweight Permits, provided the maximum gross weight does not exceed 100,000 pounds.
Permits may be issued to a specific container number or vehicle.
