Description:
The major elements of the Barksdale Project as currently proposed include a new state route (four-lane, median divided urban arterial section) from the existing I-220 terminus north of I-20 south to a terminus within the Barksdale Air Force Base, including an elevated section which will cross the Kansas City Southern Railroad and end in the Barksdale Air Force Base with a return provided for northbound and I-220/I-20 interchange improvements as recommended in the Interchange Modification Report and environmental document.
