Highway Safety

Highway Safety's mission is to continually improve the safety of users of Louisiana's highway system through the implementation of the Highway Safety Program. We strive to reduce the frequency, rate, severity of and potential for crashes involving motor vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians on Louisiana's public roads through the effective implementation of the Strategic Highway Safety Plan.
