About Us
The Office of Multimodal Commerce was created in July 2016 by Act 719 of the 2014 Regular Session. The office administers the planning and programming functions of the department related to strategic and intermodal issues, aviation, commercial trucking, intercity public mass transit, railroad expansion and development, port and water transportation systems and any other special programs as may be directed by the governor.
